My 21st Birthday!!!

Hi,

My friends couldn't get into my hall to decorate my door after we got back from the club so they decorated the door to my hall but we moved them onto my door after brunch. Here's a picture of that.Then they surprised me with cupcakes from a local bakery in the student center.After enjoying some cupcakes I went back to my room to take a math quiz and a nap because I was a little hungover from the night before. Then we all met in Alex and Addison's room to get ready. It was a lot of fun. We had the plan of leaving at 3 so we would make it to Waikiki in enough time to have drinks on the beach but that didn't happen. I was a little late in getting ready. But we made it to Waikiki by 5. Here's some pictures of us getting ready.

Alex and Addison had to help Tami get her dressed zipped up.Getting all beautiful in the small bathroom. It was crowded with 4 girls in that bathroom.Poor Jon had to wait for forever for us to be ready to leave.Finally the whole group was ready to leave so we of course had to get a group picture. Well our goal was to be in Waikiki by 4 and go have drinks on the beach at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel but that got cancelled since it took me so long to get ready. We ended up leaving around 4 and got to the restaurant at 5. We were seated at our table and that's when the fun began. We ordered drinks first. I got a Top of Waikiki, Alex got a Cosmo, Addison got a Hawaiian Sunset, and both Jon and Tami got virgin Pina Coladas. We got nachos as an appetizer. I order the Shrimp Carbonara, Tami ordered the Scallops, and Jon, Addison, and Alex all got the grilled chicken. Then it was time for dessert I got a complimentary dessert because it was my birthday. Everyone else decided to get two more desserts to share and they decided on the "No Banana" Split and the Fondue for Two but really we split it between 5. The dessert was amazing and it was so romantic to see the sunset over Waikiki. Here's more pictures from our night out. Enjoy:)

Here's the flowers I got from Jon for my birthday. I just wanted to say thanks for all the birthday cards and wishes. I meant a lot to me and I had the best 21st birthday.

Girl's Night Out

My 21st birthday was this past weekend and on Saturday night we went out to the Pipeline Club to celebrate. I went with just Tami and Addison. The club was hosting the Official Lil Wayne After Party because he had a concert here that night. We got to the club at about 11:30 and by the time we got to the front of the line it was almost midnight so we waited until the bouncer gave us the ok that it was officially midnight. We went in and went to the bar right away. Addison bought my first legal drink which was a cosmo. Then we walked around and about 15 minutes later the drinks were gone but they were not very strong. Then we decided our next round of drinks were going to be Sex on the Beach. We did a lot of dancing then decided that we should do a shot. Well Addison had only ever done shots of Tequila but I didn't want to do a shot of that so we asked the bartender and he made us something but we couldn't hear what he said. But they were good so I ordered a second one after the first. Then we went out and danced a lot more and got some water. After some more dancing I decided to get a beer. That was the last drink of the night. We left around 3 am and got back to our rooms at 3:30. It was so much fun and I hope you enjoy the pictures below.

Alex's 21st Birthday!!

Hello,

My friend Alex turned 21 on the 28th and we went out to Haleiwa to celebrate. We planned to decorate her door and room while she was sleeping on Friday night. We got up at 2 am and headed over to her hall to decorate. We blew up 21 pink and green balloons to put in her room. We also sprinkled confetti all over the floor. We put streamers and ribbon all over the door. I was really afraid that she was going to wake up while I was sprinkling the confetti around her bed but she didn't. I had to wake up early the next morning anyway to go to the mall to pick up her cookie cake. She told us that her favorite dessert are peanut butter cookies so we got her a peanut butter cookie cake from the Nestle Tollhouse bakery. I also went and got her a lei from Walmart because she said she wanted one for her birthday. Well I got back as soon as brunch started so I went up there and we hid the cake under the table until after brunch. After we were done we obtained a lighter to light the candles we got and we sang her Happy Birthday. Which it almost looked like she was going to cry but we waiting until there weren't very many people in the dining commons. Then we went back to our rooms and got ready to head to Haleiwa. We ate dinner at Cholo's which is one of the best Mexican restaurants on the island. It was pretty fun because everyone was looking at us since we were dressed up pretty nice. Spring Break 2009

Hello Everyone,

I know its been a while since I written anything but I've been really busy. So last week was our spring break and we had an awesome time. We started off our week by going to Kailua Beach on Sunday. We walked all along the beach and on some rocks which we hadn't done before but it was a lot of fun. Well I made the mistake of not wearing sunscreen and my shoulders got a little burnt. We were looking at the sea anemones. There's a picture of one below.

On Monday we went to Ala Moana Center to shop around and hang out before we had to go to the airport to get Alex's friend, Sara. I got my haircut and it turned out much better than the last time I got it cut. Here's some pics from that day.

Alex was super excited that Sara was coming plus all the fun stuff we had planned for the week. On Tuesday we started the fun off with a day in Waikiki. We went to Diamond Head which was the first time I had been there. It was a lot of fun. Then we walked along the beach and went to Puka Dog for lunch. Here's pics from Diamond Head.

On Wednesday we went to Pearl Harbor to the USS Arizona. Then we walked across the street to the swap meet at Aloha Stadium. We also made another trip to Target because Sara works at Target back in California and she wanted to check it out. It was very sunny and we got burnt or at least I did again. Except this time it was just my face. On Thursday it was Kuhio Day and we went to Hanauma Bay. Well it was pretty windy and it was very cloudy in the water so we only made one trip around the keyhole and I decided to leave. We went to Waimanalo Beach to hang out. It was also windy there. Jon, Tami, Alex, and Sara were the only ones that got in the water there. It was really rough or at least that's what they told me. We then got on a bus and went to Ala Moana to go to Zippy's. On Friday we got up super early at 5 am so we could be the first ones at Waimea Falls. Well we ended up getting there an hour before the park officially opened so we sat and watched the peacocks and ate breakfast. It took us about an hour to get to the falls but we weren't really in any rush to get there. Jon, Tami, Addison, and Sara went to swim by the falls which they all went under at one point. After they were done swimming we made our way back to the bus. We went to Haleiwa to eat Matsumoto's and then we went to Laniakea Beach. After that we made our way to Giovanni's for dinner and then back to school. Here are pictures from our day on the North Shore.
